Veenus is one of the UK’s leading hotel marketing and trading companies servicing international groups in the leisure and tourism sector. We operate a very energetic and lively trading environment and deal with world class brands such as Marriott, Hilton, Holiday Inn and Thistle hotels.
We are looking for an innovative and enterprising European Marketing Executive who will take a personal stake in delivering our target of doubling our turnover by 2011.
Responsibilities of the European Marketing Executive include:
• ensuring the company’s strategic plans and targets are met
• developing new products/packages in the UK and Europe
• contracting and inspecting of hotels (UK & Europe)
• production and distribution of products by e – communication (photoshop skills an advantage)
• ensuring our strong brand name is maintained both externally and internally
• content management of our website (launched Mar 2008)
Applicants for this position must have:
• at least 2 years’ high performance Marketing experience
• a smart and professional business manner
• a first class customer care ethos
• a target-driven approach
• a creative mind
• astute negotiation skills
• excellent written and oral communication skills
• natural problem – solving ability
• high stamina to effectively operate in a fast environment
• strong eye for detail
Desirable:
A business or marketing graduate
European languages: French, German or Spanish are desirable but not a prerequisite
