We have a vacancy for a Service Engineer based in Egursund. Reporting to the Service Manager the main duties will include:
routine servicing of plant at depot and site
attending breakdowns/repairs at depot and site
site installation
standby duties on site
providing technical support and general back up of plant to meet contract requirements
technical client contact
control of spares support
Our client requires a time-served electrical engineer with mechanical knowledge. Experience of diesel generators and fault finding is essential. Communication skills will be important because of the level of direct customer contact you will have, and the ability to apply logic to fault finding will be essential.
A valid driving licence is essential, as well as the ability to use your initiative and operate in the field role.
