2 – JOB REQUIREMENTS

As a Collections Analyst here in Reading, you’ll be providing a seamless and value-added service to the business and our customers, and delivering a positive customer experience that will significantly enhance your own standing. Certainly, handling inbound enquiries from Verizon Business customers will demand a very pro-active approach to relationship building, customer management and issue resolution – and fluency in German, French, Dutch or a Nordic language will be essential in building those relationships.

3 – DAY TO DAY

Cash collection takes place in many forms – including email – and as well as facilitating cash collection, you’ll be helping improve cash flow and reduce aged debt and DSO. When you’re working against challenging monthly targets as well as agreed KPIs, internal controls and processes, you’ll rely on your effective telephone, negotiation and settlement techniques to develop excellent relationships with various business functions and resolve customer issues in a timely and satisfactory way.

Some credit control experience would undoubtedly be useful, but having at least two of the above European languages is absolutely crucial, along with real attention to detail - because that’s where the opportunity to excel lies.
