The Company:
Our client, a leading international company, is currently recruiting for candidates who are fluent to native level or equivalent in German to work in their offices either in Brighton or Madrid as Games Testers. Training for this role would be based in Brighton, and travel expenses from London will be covered for the successful candidates.
The Role:
The role will involve playing pre-released console games with the aim of proofreading the online text, bug reporting and highlighting any errors in the relevant language so that these may be amended prior to the official release of the game
The interview and training will be based in Brighton, where you will spend up to 3 weeks learning the company's systems and procedures, before starting working in offices in Guildford or Windsor. This role is strictly office-based, as you will be handling confidential material.
This is an exciting role for those passionate about the gaming sector or those simply wishing to gain valuable experience using in proofreading using their languages.
Candidate Profile:
This is an entry-level role, which requires candidates who are quality orientated, committed and reliable with a strong work-ethic.
The ideal candidate for the role must be fluent to native level or equivalent in German with excellent written language skills, good attention to detail in their work. Good general PC literacy is a must, and prior experience of gaming as a hobby or for work is useful although by no means essential.
Salary/Additional Information:
£6.81 per hour plus holiday pay
Travel expenses for candidates traveling from London will be covered both for training and work periods.
Flights to Madrid and accommodation costs are paid in advance by the client.
