DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as a focal point for customers
Manage customer's requests
Answer questions from the BW application owners / key users concerning the operation of their solution and the "best practices" to apply.
2Manage enhancements in this functional area
Control and implement enhancements that may or may not have an impact on the core model (out of projects' scope) and create or update the associated documentation,
Co-ordinate testing and manage configuration and relevant integration issues.
Develop and/or maintain documentation related to the SAP BW Application and Solutions
Support documentation: User guides, integration testing documents, non-regression testing documents, functional specifications, configuration matrix etc.
Training documentation: manage training material
Leading SAP BW deployment projects – Management of SAP BW implementation projects
Conduct knowledge transfer and validate training content and plan. Can perform training in the functional area.
Lead gap analysis and take on the process from deployment
Create or assist in the production of functional specifications (if applicable to a particular solution)
Implementation of the configuration changes
Process knowledge, can and explain processes
Moderate SAP BW Workshops
Design new BW Applications/Information Systems
Implement and new Business Content
REQUIRED EDUCATION, PROFESSIONAL & SAP EXPERIENCE
Degree in Business Studies or Computer Science
Expected years of experience (depending on learning speed): at least 3 year as a functional analyst on SAP BW and SAP R/3 System experience.
Operational experience in the domain concerned by the module
SAP module, SAP BW & process knowledge. SAP configuration knowledge required
SAP certification (preferred)
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS
Technical Environment(s) SAP BW and R/3, BW Release 3.x, SAP NW2004s and R/3 Release 4.5 to 4.7
Tools MS Office, Specific tools
LanguagesNative language of your location & English preferred (if not native)
REQUIRED ORGANISATIONAL SKILLS
Ability to understand interactions between the SAP modules of the implemented solution.
Ability to capitalise and exploit existing solution for issue resolution
Ability to report on difficulties concerning analysis & understanding of problems as well as technical difficulties.
REQUIRED MANAGEMENT SKILLS (if relevant)
Ability to manage projects: create action plans to obtain the objectives with a judicious allowance of time and resources.
Ability to conduct knowledge transfer sessions
Ability to lead support take-on sessions
