The Company:
Our client, an international company is currently recruiting for a New Business Sales Executive, fluent in English and another European language (French, Italian, German, Dutch, Danish, Swedish, and Spanish) to join their office in Oxfordshire.
The Role:
The position will be responsible for dealing with both incoming and outgoing calls to generate sales opportunities. The successful candidate will be required to qualify and follow up on leads by contacting prospective clients via phone, demonstrating and selling the product as well as quoting on price, negotiating and closing the deal. You will also have to produce monthly sales and lead reports. Although it is an office based role face to face client meeting will be involved from time to time.
Candidate Profile:
You will be fluent in English and another European language (French, Italian, German, Dutch, Danish, Swedish, Spanish) along with a degree in a technical or IT related subject. Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills along with a sales and target driven personality are fundamental for the role. The ability to build close, long-term relationships with customers is a vital part of the job and therefore candidates must have excellent closing skills. You will have to present to audiences at all levels so being comfortable talking to people from different backgrounds is essential.
Furthermore, an interest in computing, maths or science along with experience in sales or business development is necessary for this position.
Salary/Additional Information:
The basic salary for this position is £18,000 pa with the possibility of earning up to £25,000 OTE depending on experience. The benefits include 20 days paid holiday per year, contributory pension scheme and a company funded health scheme (after qualifying period).
The working hours are from 9:00 to 5:30 with one hour lunch break (37.5 hour week).
