A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Key Account Manager has arisen to join one of our York-based clients, a fast growing DIY/Trade Tools manufacturing company from the Far East.
The company already has an established sales network in the US & parts of Europe, and due to rapid expansion in the UK is now looking to focus on new business development through national retailers, trade outlets and independents.
The Key Account Manager's key responsibilities will be to recognise, target & close new business opportunities in order to build & nurture long term customer relationships across all levels and achieve sales growth.
The successful applicant will have a strong background in Sales, with experience in managing accounts within the retail/wholesale sector. You must have knowledge of the DIY/trade sector in the UK, preferably combined with experience in dealing with Far East manufacturing companies.
You will be motivated, target-driven and an excellent communicator across all levels, with leadership capabilities to handle external clients & internal suppliers.
The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to develop with the company as it continues to grow.
