Our globally renowned client is a software and solutions provider that enables professionals from across the legal, business, tax, accounting, finance, audit, risk, compliance, and healthcare worlds to make the most of their time, make informed decisions and access the information they need, when they need it. A superb opportunity has now arisen for a Bilingual Product Support Specialist to join their Health Division on a 12 month contract. 

If you are a technical customer support professional who is fluent in Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, Icelandic or Finnish, this is a superb opportunity to take on a challenging, yet highly rewarding contract. 

In this exciting role, you’ll be provided with comprehensive training to bring you up to speed on our client’s products and ensure that you succeed in your role. 

As a Product Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing pre and post-sales support to users of our client’s health applications. 

Liaising with a customer base that includes medical and academic researchers, you’ll answer any queries they may have and ensure that issues are swiftly resolved. 

Acting as the Implementation Manager, you’ll guide both new and existing customers through the full use and implementation of software and database features. 

As part of your role, on occasion you will be required to undertake some domestic and international travel, however this will not be on a regular basis. 

Your other duties will involve: 

- Overseeing the delivery of services and/or projects for customers 
- Helping to test upcoming software releases and providing feedback to the Development Team 
- Assisting with the creation of demonstration resources for products and customer-focused services 
- Providing ongoing technical training to colleagues, customers, Administrators and Partners 

To be considered, you must have: 

- Prior experience within a technical support role 
- Experience of using a CRM system 
- Previous programming and/or scripting experience 
- Fluency in at least one of the following languages, in addition to English: Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, Icelandic or Finnish 

Organised and customer-focused, as a Product Support Specialist, you must be articulate and self-motivated. A good sense of humour is key, as is the ability to effectively prioritise your workload in a team-oriented environment. 

Ideally, you’ll have knowledge of Library and Information Studies or work experience in a digital library environment. Fluency in German or Dutch, in addition to English and a Scandinavian language, would also be advantageous.
