A leading financial solutions firm is currently hiring a French speaking Client Service Representative to join its London office. The position is the first line of contact and support for global custodian and institutional client enquiries by telephone and by email.

Purpose of the role:

To ensure all emails and telephone calls are accurately responded to within Service level Agreement (SLA) and to ensure a world class service delivery to all clients in relation to their global proxy voting requirements.

To establish, build and maintain excellent working relationships with global custodians and institutional clients in order to facilitate a positive and productive business relationship whilst ensuring that all elements of their proxy voting requirements are addressed promptly and professionally.

Job Responsibilities:
1.To promptly and accurately resolve email and telephone enquiries from clients about their proxy voting requirements
2.To ensure all email and telephone enquiries are resolved to a very high standard and all responses fulfil the client's expectations
3.To take ownership of and to track ongoing and complex enquiries with various internal departments to ensure the actions are completed and the appropriate responses are closed out with the client
4.To produce reports for clients based on systematic and manual output
5.To issue email alerts to clients along with any relevant supporting documentation to facilitate proxy voting
6.To process ad hoc administration requests from clients in line with pre-defined Service Level Agreements
7.To articulate a full understanding of the firm's proxy process and to demonstrate a full awareness of the multiple products and services available to clients
8.To co-ordinate and actively participate in client meetings and service review discussions
9.To ensure the client understands the complete proxy voting processes and vote platforms available
10.To set up and lead regular conference calls with your allocated clients and to keep a record of all actions and minutes from these calls
11.To track client issues/requests and to monitor progress through to successful completion
12.To co-ordinate client on-boarding/conversions and to assist with client testing where applicable
13.To provide demonstrations to new clients by webex and via conference calls
14.To build an effective and professional working relationship with your client base and to deliver a world class service at all times
15.To keep abreast of local market updates and changes in regulation and market practice and to share knowledge with clients/staff internally where applicable
16.To participate fully as a team member within the Client Service team and to share knowledge and ideas to improve client satisfaction and service delivery
17.May perform other duties/responsibilities as needed or assigned by the team leader

*Fluency in English & French to a native standard
*Proven proficiency in managing large volumes of client enquiries by email and telephone
*Experienced and passionate about driving high client satisfaction results and overall client advocacy
*Self-initiated to gain the knowledge necessary to perform job duties at a high level in a changing environment
*Solution oriented with analytical problem solving skills
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills - confident and articulate
*Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain performance under pressure and to tight deadlines

Desirable attributes:
*Experience of working in a financial service environment in similar Client Services, Asset Servicing, Custody Servicing or Proxy Voting department would be an advantage
*Typically requires experience in client service and/or sales related role
*Educated to Degree level or above
