A leading Corporate solutions firm is looking to hire a German speaking Investor Relations (IR) Sales Specialist in London. This is a new business sales role. This role manages and grows revenue, maximizes customer satisfaction and achieves the company's strategic objectives within corporate accounts in the German speaking market.

The Investor Relations Sales Specialist is responsible for driving gross revenue across the IR proposition within a defined territory.

Day to Day Responsibilities include:

*Develop and execute a focused sales plan within a defined territory targeting Investor Relations and Governance professionals, Finance Directors, CFOs, Brokers and other members of the IR community that could leverage their solutions.
*Identify key decision makers/influencers within targeted prospects and the overall market to drive Investor Relations revenue.
*Proactively engage new contacts by leveraging existing relationships and cold calling.
*Collaborate effectively with internal teams such as Operations, Advisory Analysts, Product Development, Marketing and other members of the client-facing team.
*Monitor the external market for an evolving understanding of customer's requirements and the competition.
*Accurately maintain sales pipeline, forecast and activity within CRM software, i.e. Salesforce

The ideal candidate will have the following skills, knowledge and experience:

*College/university degree or relevant work experience in a financial industry sector
*Experience in sales, ideally selling to Investor Relations professionals.
*Deep domain expertise within the Investor Relations space; including, but not limited to, knowledge of the buy-side and investor targeting, sell-side engagement, investor communications and more.
*Strong knowledge of financial markets, competitor landscape, and the Investor Relations offering.
*Must excel and have a track record in driving consistent gross sales and creating high-level relationships within corporations
*Consistently high activity levels - cold calling, client meetings, production demonstrations, etc
*Strong customer focus
*Proven communication, selling, persuasion, negotiation and collaboration skills
*Good knowledge of CRM software and admin systems like
*Results oriented and experienced in value based selling
*Fluency in English and German, both to a native level

The successful candidate will report into the Regional Sales Manager.
