JOB TITLE: Area Manager
REPORTS TO: Regional Manager
DEPARTMENT: Operations


Our Area Managers ensure that our Staff on site have all the support they need to have a successful summer.
You will be responsible for the delivery of both the Canvas and Tohapi product within a designated geographical area. You will oversee the performance and welfare of your staff and assist with maintaining the fleet to ensure that we provide our customer with an excellent service and standard of accommodation.


■ Co-ordinate and supervise the complete montage and demontage of all accommodation, storage and specialist units.
■ Take responsibility for the welfare and performance of all staff, ensuring that they are appropriately trained and developed and given feedback throughout the season.
■ Ensure that all administration tasks are completed accurately and on time (e.g. Health and Safety Annual/Monthly audits, Site Visit Forms, Staff Assessments and Appraisals and Demo paperwork)
■ Monitor the quality of campsite facilities, identifying any problem areas and immediately reporting them to the appropriate personnel.
■ Ensure the appropriate company image is being reflected at all times, by ensuring correct uniform is worn by all staff on site at correct times and that guidelines regarding corporate identity, dress code, and alcohol code
are rigorously upheld.
■ Ensure care and upkeep of all company vehicles and equipment (e.g laptop computer and mobile phone)
■ Assist couriers with maintaining accommodation throughout the season, ensuring customers receive the best quality and equipment available within budgetary and logistical constraints. Assist with start-up and shutdown
procedures as well as the fitting of basic items within our mobile home fleet throughout the season.Ensure the product is delivered as advertised.
■ Monitor electronic customer questionnaire results and use data to feed back to site teams and setobjectives to exceed customer expectations of service delivery.
■ Monitor all expenditure within a certain geographical area, ensuring it is accounted for by means of appropriate receipts, reports and accounts.
■ Work in a flexible manner at all times in order to achieve the overall aims of the company.
■ Build and maintain good working relationships with both internal and external customers.

Important Information

 The salary is approximately £1,500 per month (gross) for an Area Manager (35 hours per week averaged out over the season), is paid monthly on the 20th of each month for the period of the 13th of the previous month to the 12th of the pay month (ie 8 days in arrears). Please note that the salary is subject to change due to exchange rate variations.
 Accommodation, plus electricity and gas, are provided in addition to the remuneration package. The accommodation will take the form of a tent or a mobile home which you may share with other couriers or, in some cases, may be occupied by you alone.
 We will deduct a £200 facilitation bond from your first full salary which we will return to you upon successful completion of your contract of employment.
 We will also require you to go to a doctor with the job description and get them to certify that you are capable of fulfilling the duties of the role. We will need a copy of this before we make any travel arrangements for you.
 You will be provided with insurance cover for emergency medical expenses.
 You will be responsible for getting your own travel insurance to cover Baggage and Personal items.
 You will be provided with a full uniform.
 You will work a 6-day week.
 You will get 2.5 days holiday per month which cannot be accrued.
 Full training will be provided as well as a comprehensive handbook to assist you in your role. You will need to complete the Online Induction before your contract starts.
 You will be expected to arrange your own travel within the UK.
 You will be expected to book your return travel home and will be reimbursed a contribution on completion of your contract.
 If you are successful all placements offered are provisional and may change due to operational needs.
 Please note that we operate on a limited number of sites which allow our staff to take their own caravan, campervan or any animals.
 Please note that the Area Manager role will involve a lot of driving.
