Alpha CRC is a specialist localization company with eighteen years' experience of translating and adapting software products and documentation into a large range of languages for use across the world. We provide the full spectrum of translation/localization services from straightforward text translation to a total localization solution for complex software packages with documentation and Help. Thanks to the expertise of our technical departments, as well as translation and desktop publishing staff, we deliver high-quality end results on time and to budget.



From its foundation, in 1987, with five people, Alpha CRC has grown to a company of around one hundred professional staff. With headquarters in Cambridge (UK), we also have a growing production centre in Barcelona, a new office in Beijing, and sales offices in Germany and the US.



Alpha CRC employs a core of full-time postgraduate translators working into 15 different languages in-house - all the major Western European languages plus Chinese, Japanese and Korean. We can source other languages and subject/technical expertise on a project-by-project basis from our extensive database of contacts and experienced freelancers. In Eastern Europe in particular, we have built up some excellent relationships with translation teams and have successfully completed a number of projects. When working with freelancers, our in-house staff are responsible for consistency of style and terminology, and we make sure that any questions are answered promptly. In other words: freelancers are properly integrated into our in-house effort. This approach gives us the flexibility to put together the right team of language and technical experts to suit the requirements of each project and client.
