Prestigious digiital marketing organisation has an excellent opportunity for a Translation manager at its Leeds Office.
The opportunity for a Translation Manager has arisen as the company expands and as demands on people’s time increase there is a need to expand the support services to ensure effective and efficient operations.
To provide full support to the Translation Director in all aspects of translation services to clients.
Main tasks of job:
Managing and co-ordinating the International translation project management teams
Logging and managing language requirements Managing client projects and workload across the translation teamRecruiting of freelance personnel to meet language requirement
Editing and checking of contentLiaising with clientsWorking directly within client softwareTraining of staff on software useExtensive Translation experience
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent communication skills both orally and written
Knowledge of translation software (not essential as training will be given)Willingness to learn new software applications
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracyAbility to work under pressureAbility to manage people successfullyTime management skills with the ability to work to deadlines
The role requires English mother tong with good knowledge of another language - particularly Russian.
The successful applicant must be linguistically astute with the confidence to assist in managing a team of writers and editors to meet the demands of a growing client base. You will have excellent communication skills which will be required to liaise with the internal team and in the recruitment of new translators to build the team.
