Service Desk Technician – Ellesmere Port
Main Responsibilities
- Undertake within agreed SLAs, the assignment, ownership and resolution of incidents and requests relating to IT using the Service Desk ITSM system.
- Tracking and managing service desk calls to resolution within agreed SLAs
- Escalation of high priority incidents to ensure their effective and timely resolution
- Make effective use of Service Desk tools to remotely control PCs to assist in incident investigation and resolution
- Continued ownership of open and aged incidents to ensure these are kept to a minimum
- Ensure that the all work elements and relevant processes are documented and comply with defined approvals processes
- As required, build and Deploy and install supported user hardware and applications
Main Requirements
- Experience in a technical support environment
- Good understanding of Windows 10, Microsoft Office suite
- Experience of customer service (it would be advantageous if this was within a manufacturing environment)
- Experience working in an ITIL environment
- Good problem solving ability
- Experience of active directory administration and Exchange mailbox administration
- English and at least two of the following languages – French, Spanish, Italian
- Excellent communication skills both in verbal and written format
- Ability to manage time well and prioritise workload
- Highly customer focused
