About the Role:
You will be responsible for driving the Pan-European procurement strategy for the business, by taking end to end ownership of the procurement cycle, Partner performance and relationships. You will play a key role in complex negotiations with Partners, ensuring to minimise risk and maximise value for money. You will take the lead on researching, introducing and managing new suppliers that will enhance the overall quality of our Pan-European Partner Network.
Fluency in English AND German
Location: UK, Netherlands, Ireland, Spain, Germany
Requirements:
- Demonstrable track record of Best-in-Class Category Management, Partner development and cost savings
- Procurement process knowledge (CIPS or recognised European equivalent)
- 3PL / 4PL logistics knowledge (desirable)
- Effective internal and external stakeholder management at all levels
- Demonstrable experience of manipulating and analysing data
Responsibilities:
- Continually reviewing the network cost and identifying opportunities for improvement and cost savings
- Partner compliance and management
- Contract partners
