Responsibilities:
- Network Support Consulting
- Working knowledge of RF fundamentals as it relates to WiFi and fixed wireless broadband.
- Specialize in product and customer application areas such as PMP, PTP, WLAN, etc.
- Understand a wide array of customer network designs and real-world use cases and knows how the applicable product can be utilized and configured in these applications.
- Able to understand wider customer network design and functionality including backhaul, access layer, Ethernet, etc.
- Knowledge of network management tools and able to assist with onboarding devices into customer network management system.
- Able to assess a customer network to develop solutions to customer reported issues as well as advise customers of possible improvements needed to their network.
- Able to perform hands-on implementation tasks and supervise the activities of customer technical resources in the completion of technical tasks.
Requirements:
- Solid understanding of microwave RF link design
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- Experience with RF spectrum analysis and noise mitigation
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP and general networking concepts
- Proven ability with consulting, training, and mentoring with external and internal audiences
- Knowledge of network planning and analysis tools
- Able to use Visio, Excel, and other general-purpose software applications to create excellent documentation, reports, and presentations
- CCNA certification or equivalent work experience
