About the Role:
English Speaking IT Network Admin/Systems Admin
Lisbon, Portugal
€1600-1700 per year + meal allowance + benefits
As an IT Help Desk you will install and configurate, rollout and maintain of hardware and software.
Job Duties
Support the configuration and installation of servers, network equipment desktop PCs and related peripherals for various project and operational needs
Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project / operational requirements
Manages back-ups and system restore protocol
Plans and supports network and computing infrastructure
Perform troubleshooting analysis of servers, workstations and associated systems
Create document of issues faced and logging so can be used to resolve future similar issues.
Monitoring system performance and implements performance tuning
Manage user accounts, permissions, email, anti-virus etc
Oversee software and network security
Repair and recover from hardware or software failures.
Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, including upgrading administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary
Configuring CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required
Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.
Experience required
A relevant IT qualification
Fluent English
At least 2 years system/network admin.
Must have depth knowledge in in Network, System Administration, Desktop and Applications support and troubleshooting
Cisco Certified (CCNA/CCNP) or Microsoft\Unix certification is a plus
