We are seeking an experienced Japanese-speaking Payments Operations Manager to join our growing team. Based in Malta, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end payment processes and operations, ensuring seamless and secure transactions for both clients and customers. Your role will involve managing a team, ensuring compliance, conducting thorough document checks, and leading Know Your Customer (KYC) processes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the payments operations team, providing guidance and supervision in all aspects of payment processing.
- Oversee end-to-end payment processes, including document verification, settlement, reconciliation, and fraud prevention.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments while maintaining a high level of security and compliance.
- Conduct thorough document checks and verification processes for transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Implement and manage robust Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures to prevent fraudulent activities and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize payment-related processes, minimize errors, and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Monitor payment trends and industry developments, proactively identifying areas for process improvement.
- Maintain relationships with payment providers, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies to stay informed about compliance requirements and changes.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on payment operations, compliance, and fraud prevention for management review.
Qualifications:
- Fluent in Japanese and English, both written and spoken.
- Proven experience in payments operations and compliance within the online gambling or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of payment methods, document verification, KYC procedures, and fraud prevention.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and trends related to payment operations and compliance.
- Knowledge of payment processing systems, compliance regulations, and best practices.
- Ability to lead and develop a team, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
