About the Role:
Job Title: German speaking Technical Support Advisor
Location: Slough (office based - no hybrid offered)
Salary: £26,000 - £34,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Full-time
Hours: 7am – 3pm, Monday to Friday
We are looking for a German-speaking Technical Support Specialist to join our client's team in Slough. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing vital technical support to our client's employees. If you are fluent in German, have technical support experience, and are based within a commutable distance to Slough, this role could be perfect for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 1 remote and occasional desk-side technical support.
- Receive and log all phone calls, emails, and web forms within the service desk tracking system, and aim to resolve incidents or requests at the first point of contact.
- Liaise with 3rd party support providers to escalate and resolve support queries as needed.
- Act as an escalation point for the 1st line Desktop Support Team to help resolve various IT support-related issues.
What We’re Looking For:
- Fluency in German is essential.
- Previous technical support experience is essential.
- Must be within a commutable distance to Slough and able to work 5 days a week in the office.
- Strong customer service and communication skills are required.
