About the Company

A leading retail business with a strong international presence and an excellent reputation for customer service is seeking an experienced German Speaking Customer Service Team Leader. This role will support and develop a multilingual team, ensuring first-class service is delivered across European markets.

The Role

As the German Speaking Customer Service Team Leader, you will oversee a small team of German and French-speaking advisors. You’ll provide guidance, coaching, and support to ensure a consistently high standard of customer service while driving performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.

  • Lead and support a small team of German and French-speaking advisors
  • Handle complex or escalated customer queries via email, phone, chat, and social media
  • Coach team members and assist with onboarding and training
  • Ensure all customer interactions are resolved efficiently and professionally
  • Collaborate with departments such as logistics, e-commerce, and marketing
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and share best practices

The Candidate

  • Fluent in German (French advantageous) and English, both spoken and written
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer service
  • Experience handling escalated or complex queries
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and team-support skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
