About the Role:
German‑speaking Content Editor
London based with 1 day per week in the office or remote from Malta or Austria

Euro London Appointments has partnered with a well‑established international company in the Sports and Gaming sector to recruit a German‑speaking Content Editor for a newly created role following a recent acquisition.

Reporting to one of the Content Managers, you will act as the DACH market specialist for this brand. You’ll use your content writing and editing expertise to deliver engaging content for German‑speaking audiences, while also coordinating a team of freelancers. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation and take real ownership of content for this market.

The role
- Creating, editing and refining content for German‑speaking audiences, with an initial focus on the Austrian market
- Producing SEO‑focused content that follows best practices and uses industry tools to identify optimisation opportunities
- Using data and audience insights to propose new ideas that strengthen engagement and support brand growth in the iGaming space
- Contributing to a high‑performing team while setting your own development goals
- Collaborating with colleagues across the business to ensure content aligns with wider objectives
- Overseeing freelance writers, ensuring deadlines are met and content quality remains consistently high

What our client is looking for
- Fluency in German and English; experience writing for Austria or using Austrian German is a strong advantage
- 5+ years’ experience in digital content marketing, with a track record of writing, editing and optimising content to drive performance
- Hands‑on SEO experience, including the use of metrics and analytics to monitor and improve content success
- Background in a regulated industry is ideal (e. g. , iGaming, Sports Betting, Fintech, Crypto, Health)
- Experience managing external writers or freelancers
- Strong focus on KPIs, performance metrics and continuous improvement
- Experience using SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush or SurferSEO

- Permanent, full‑time role with an immediate start available (notice periods also accommodated)
- Flexible working: hybrid from Central London (1 day per week in the office) or fully remote from Malta or Austria
